World's Media Day
Riot Games tapped Redrock Entertainment to produce and broadcast the World’s Media Day ahead of the League of Legends World Finals in Seoul, South Korea.
Our LIVE team spearheaded all production efforts, including sourcing venues, collaborating with local production teams, coordinating with Korean law enforcement and overseeing local fabrication to create the distinctive stage and set. Additionally, our MEDIA team managed the press conference broadcast, featuring multi-camera video content capture and a live stream with translations in Chinese, Korean, and English.
To support a Super Bowl-style media event, we were challenged to deliver a seamless, multi-platform broadcast. The event needed to be simulcast live to Twitch, Discord and a private press feed for global journalists, including the Associated Press. Our team deployed a compact three-camera fly-pack paired with LiveU transmission, ensuring a high-quality, stable stream across all platforms. The result was a flawless broadcast that thrilled the client and generated widespread international media coverage, with major news outlets utilizing our live stream for their own segments, articles and exclusive features.
