USA Release of The Stolen. 

‘The Stolen’ is a feature film set at the time of the gold rush in 1860s New Zealand. The film was shot in the Canterbury region of New Zealand and post produced in both the Saxony Anhalt region of Germany and London, UK by Cork Films, Red Rock Entertainment and MiriquidiFilm further. Now out on Dvd across the the U.S.A and United Kingdom.

New Zealand Premiere of The Stolen.

London’s Covent Garden will host the world premiere of the New Zealand-shot drama The Stolen on Thursday evening (Friday morning NZ Time).
Starring British actress Alice Eve (Sex and the City 2), Pirates of the Caribbean’s Jack Davenport and Kiwis Richard O’Brien and Stan Walker, the film is set during the 1860s Goldrush here.

Star Wars Costume Designer works on The Stolen.

From a sunlit room in her family home in the Christchurch suburb of Mt Pleasant, Tina Hutchison-Thomas puts the finishing touches on a lavish coat for a Les Miserables stage show, soon to tour the country. “I’ve always loved costume,” she says. Surrounded by reels of coloured thread and mannequins, the costume designer discussed one of her biggest projects to date, a local film called The Stolen, which had its New Zealand premiere in Sumner’s Hollywood Cinema on Tuesday.
